Zodiac

For 2500 years there was no written revelation from God.The plan of redemption could be seen above in the picture images of the zodiac.The word 'zodiac'comes from its primitive root 'zoad' meaning a walk,a way, or going by steps.(1)In Sanskrit means: "A Way," "A Path", "A Step". (2) Keep in mind that Jesus said," I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No man cometh unto the Father but by me" John 14:6.

Psalm 19:1-4 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.Day unto day uttereth speech,and night unto night sheweth knowledge.There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.Their line is gone out throughout all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun" . Notice that it says "Their line is gone out throughout all the earth". What line ? I think it's like how we 'connect the dots'to form a picture, or any map you pick up of the constellations draws a line to connect the stars into the patterns of the Big Dipper, Orion, the Southern Cross, etc.
Also, "There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard".As was stated on the previous post,no matter how far back we go into written history,the identifying of the representative pictures remains consistent even if the stories behind them change.
Psalm 19:1-6 deals with the HEAVENS.
Psalm 19:7-14 deals with the WRITTEN Word of God.
The first gives picture images and the latter gives the explanation. In Isaiah 48:3 God says, "I have declared the former things from the beginning;" and in 48:5 He says, :I have even from the beginning declared it to thee;before it came to pass I shewed it thee;". Read the whole chapter to get the correct context. God is speaking to Israel warning them of impending judgement and He directed His prophets to write those things that would come to pass long before it was fulfilled. Likewise, we have in picture images His plan to redeem mankind in the zodiac.
Flavius Josephus was a Jewish historian who was born in 37 A.D.and died sometime after 100 A.D. He wrote an account of Seth, Adam's third son,in ANTIQUITIES OF THE JEWS , Book I Ch 2:3 "I will therefore only endeavor to give an account of those that proceeded from Seth.Now this Seth,when he was brought up,and came to those years in which he could discern what was good,became a virtuous man;and as he was himself of an excellant character, so did he leave children behind him who imitated his virtues.......They also were the inventers of that peculiar sort of wisdom which is concerned with the HEAVENLY BODIES , AND THEIR ORDER.And that their inventions might not be lost before they were sufficiently known ,upon Adam's PREDICTION THAT THE WORLD WAS TO BE DESTROYED AT ONE TIME BY THE FORCE OF FIRE, and at another time by the violence and quantity of water, they made two pillars; one of brick , the other of stone.....and exhibit those discoveries to mankind;".
According to this record,they engraved their findings in astronomy on these two pillars, so they would not be lost.
The Book of Enoch ( not scripture, but is a historical writing)records Enoch's instructions to Methuselah, his son,in LXXXII."Charge given to Enoch: the four Intercalary Days:the Stars which lead the Seasons and the Months"....9.And these are the orders of the stars, which set in their places,and in their seasons and festivals and months.". However, Enoch also saw in visions given to him by God how the angels who rebelled in Genesis 6 took up with women and sired children who became giants (reason why God sent the Flood in Noah's day.) He speaks of two of these angels, named Baraqijal and Kokabel who taught astrology and the constellations to men and corrupted them.So there lies the source of the corruption of astronomy to astrology.
