Everyone loves a bride & groom!

Oh now, what do we do when we get too many eggs ? Well, we feed everybody omelets and custards, tapioca and scrambled eggs.Then we feed the dogs omets & scrambled eggs. After that, stuff the incubator with eggs for egg laying hens for next year.Then~~~ We make egg noodles!! It would appear that insanity has affected my borders.Hanging out egg noodles like clothes to dry!

After that~~ I don't know what to tell you. Good thing I received this email today.Another chicken lover was innundated with eggs . He built a lovely model city!

Too Much Rain

Don't get me wrong~ I like rain.A big garden needs rain. Farmers need rain.Every time I turn on the water faucet or the shower I am thankful for rain.After all~ I could have been born in Saudi Arabia where rain is an awesome experience ,if it occurs at all! But we've had a tad too much lately. By now, I'm usually 400 bales deep in hay. Not this year~ too wet to harvest.Hay needs dry hot weather to cut & cure.Thus goes the saying," Make hay while the sun shines." Damp hay , if baled and stored will ferment, heat up & explode into flames. Why do barns burn down in the late spring & early summer? That's why.My hats off to hay farmers~ one year too much drought.The next year, too much rain. My brother lives in Ol' Virginny and has not been able to cut his hay as yet.Its' growth is tall now, shorted out his electric fencing ( much to the ecstatic joy of his free range cattle & pigs) and has been receiving phone calls from distant neighboring farms ( 5 miles away) that 'RED', his 700 lb boer pig has been visiting 'the ladies' and repopulating that section of the state.
I never understood the full impact of the term "MUD ROOM" until I moved to the farm.Now I know.The floors need sweeping or vacuuming everyday and washing 3 times a week.At least.I understand the Chinese rule of "No Shoe In House!" and left at the doorway.So, my porch entrance is cluttered with mucking boots & shoes & you trip over sneakers in the mud room.But the dogs are the final culprit of the spread of the outdoors into the main house.Oh well.

Aggravated !

I just spent almost 4 hours working on the next section ,VIRGO. It was good! Then I mis-clicked and AOL shut down & I lost the whole thing! Therefore, I must take 'time-out' , lest I break every window in the house and go on a rampage screaming with manic laughter!This picture is a female grizzly who is my soul mate.We share the same emotions.( SIGH)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~


I am calm now and in control of my senses.The past 2 weeks have not been good. I trashed my right knee for the 2nd time in 9 mos. I am out of work. I don't know for how long.This morning I will have an MRI (again!) that will diagnose the root of the problem. A tear? (That means a longer recuperation) vs. a nasty sprain~ for which I really hope).
My fellow farming & gardening friends will recognize the frustration of being 'out of commision' at this time of year. I have chicken & turkey peeps hatching in the incubator,meat baby chickens in one chicken coop that need to graze, a young 3 yr old filly that needs handling and training,besides all the other chickens ,turkeys & horses & sheep & dogs & cats etc, etc that need attention.My garden is 185 ft x 185 ft. It also needs my attention.Fortunately, my daughter & son-in-law share this garden and have been a wonderful help. We grow our own food for the whole year.We cannot neglect and mess up.I also have turkey peeps coming the end of this month. Each peep costs $9.00 !!! Well, hopefully, the BEST of the BEST mama turkey will be ready for her next little brood.
I am drowning in eggs.I need to sell them.So, I make quiche and egg custards & omelots.Eggs everyday for breakfast.
I try to clean my house, but the back of my knee gives out & collapses if I stand on my leg too long.
But~~ I am blessed, REALLY blessed with my husband who helps me keep things running as smooth as possible. And makes me breakfast, lunch & supper fit for a queen! Feeds the entire farm people population with all their quirks and differences in grains,waters, and then collects eggs.
It's all very good and wonderful.I have no cause to complain. I am just a VERY independant person .I cannot drive at all now. I am limited where I can walk.It pisses me off! My 3 yr old filly needs handling and training.Now nothing is going on with her except she gets fed daily.Not good!
Also, there is that gap at work since I am not there.Too busy an E.R.for insufficient staffing.
One thing is for certain~~ You never know what a day will bring! ( Is that an oxymoron?)

VIRGO

The first of the constellations of the zodiac I will begin with is Virgo.

According to Joseph A. Seiss, "THE GOSPEL IN THE STARS",originally published in 1882 he says ,"I also have the statement from the best authorities that the custom was universal among the ancients to reckon from Virgo round to Leo.And in this sign of Virgo, if anywhere around the starry groups, we find the primary idea in the evangelic presentations."(pg 27, "The Gospel In The Stars", 1972 Kregel Publications,Grand Rapids, MI ). Modern tradition begins the zodiac with Aries, but it was not always so. There is an ancient temple in Esne (or Esneh),Egypt which has the the zodiac on the ceiling (somewhat blackened by woodsmoke fires). A Sphynx seperates the constellation of Virgo & Leo , having the head facing Virgo & the Lion's tail pointing to Leo . In Dr James Kennedy's book, "The Real Meaning of the Zodiac", he states, "That same sphinx is found in the same place in a number of other great paintings of the Mazzaroth (or the constellations of the zodiac), in other parts of the Near East, going back as much as 4,000 years , telling us the original place of the beginning." The sphinx, in these sitings, seperates the beginning point and the end of the zodiac constellations.

This temple was built during the Ptolemaic period and is referred to as the Temple of Khnum .You will recognize the Ptolemy Dynasty because Cleopatra was the last of the Ptolemy rulers until the Roman conquest.
Throughout history, nations have referred to this constellation as a Virgin.Astrea( who took her place amongst the stars) and Athene of the Greeks, Bethulah in Hebrew & Syriac (the maiden,virgin).In Arabic she is Adarah, the pure virgin. And also in Greek she is Parthenos,the maid of virgin pureness.Aratus, in 270 B.C.wrote,in one of his poems ,"Beneath Bootes' feet the virgin seek." (Virgo is found beneath the feet of the constellation Bootes.)
Here is the first of the story of God's plan of redemption of man written in the constellations. ISAIAH 7:14 "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign;BEHOLD, A VIRGIN SHALL CONCEIVE ,AND BEAR A SON,and shall call his name Immanuel" (which being interpreted is "God with us", Matthew 1:23)When the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph he told him, "...:for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.And she shall bring forth a son,and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.(Matt 1:20b-21).So, here we are told that this child shall be "God with us", "Who shall save his people from their sins".Hmmmmm! Why did redemption have to be this way? Redemption means to buy back.Buy us back from whom? Why is it important that Jesus was born of a virgin?
Picture a football game: the GOLD team vs. the DARK team. The game has started and all is going well for the Gold team. Adam,the quarterback, has control of the ball and everyone on the Goldteam's side is cheering. SUDDENLY, he fumbles & loses control of the ball and the Dark team intercepts it.They run with the ball! Now, picture a hushed silence as the entire audience hears a whistle stopping the game and sees an entourage of important looking people entering the stadium field .A man dressed in brilliant white and gold is in the lead, arms outstretched over his head and he gives the command ,"Stop the GAME !" ~~ "This is MY stadium, which I built and this is MY team (Gold Team)! Gimme back that ball.We're starting over! Adam, do it right this time!". The crowd is in a state of shock at first, then the 'BOO's' begin from the Dark side's fans and the Gold Team is embarrased because this is clearly against the Rules of Fairplay.We came to watch a real bonafied game!You can't break the rules.
So, God would not go against or break His own Laws that He Himself established.In the Garden of Eden, we have a LEGAL situation.Adam and Eve were placed there and given AUTHORITY and DOMINION over the earth and its resources.(see Genesis 1:26).When Adam fumbled the ball & lost it, God would not step in and repossess the title which Adam lost to Satan.That would have been without due process of law.Satan is henceforth referred to as the 'god of this world'(2 Corintians 4:4), who goes "to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it"."(Job 1:7 & 2:2). He is called "..the prince of the power of the air..."(Ephesians 2:2). Have you always thought of Satan as being a red guy with horns & a pitchfork whose geographical location was hell? Nope, not there.He marches around the earth and our atmosphere.His appearance is that of "an angel of light"(2 Corinthians 11:14), but he was not an angel or an archangel, but a different and more powerful heavenly being~ he was one of the CHERUBIM that covered the very throne of God.His authority was great and even Michael the archangel recognized the chain of authority during the disputation over the body of Moses and said ,"The Lord rebuke thee" (Jude vs 9).That was prior to the cross.Michael will fight against Satan in the War in Heaven in Revelation .Do you know what the outcome is?(start with Revelation 12 and keep going). In Ezekiel 28 we learn there are 2 dimensions existing with earthly governmental powers, the physical & spiritual.The Prince of Tyre was the earthly ruler but then the chapter is directed against the 'King of Tyre", obviously referring to Satan himself by the chapters description.I get so frustrated with politicians in this country & other nations,but I need to also keep in mind Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood , but against principalities,against powers, against the RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, against spiritual wickedness in HIGH PLACES".
When a man is a slave, all of his seed (offsping) automatically are accounted slaves.Man is the seed carrier.The woman has merely the egg that becomes fertilized by the seed. None of Adam's seed could redeem us since all themselves must be redeemed.How will God work this out?~~~~~~~~~ Stay Tuned!!
Romans 6:16-18

Zodiac

For 2500 years there was no written revelation from God.The plan of redemption could be seen above in the picture images of the zodiac.The word 'zodiac'comes from its primitive root 'zoad' meaning a walk,a way, or going by steps.(1)In Sanskrit means: "A Way," "A Path", "A Step". (2) Keep in mind that Jesus said," I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No man cometh unto the Father but by me" John 14:6.

Psalm 19:1-4 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.Day unto day uttereth speech,and night unto night sheweth knowledge.There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.Their line is gone out throughout all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun" . Notice that it says "Their line is gone out throughout all the earth". What line ? I think it's like how we 'connect the dots'to form a picture, or any map you pick up of the constellations draws a line to connect the stars into the patterns of the Big Dipper, Orion, the Southern Cross, etc.
Also, "There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard".As was stated on the previous post,no matter how far back we go into written history,the identifying of the representative pictures remains consistent even if the stories behind them change.
Psalm 19:1-6 deals with the HEAVENS.
Psalm 19:7-14 deals with the WRITTEN Word of God.
The first gives picture images and the latter gives the explanation. In Isaiah 48:3 God says, "I have declared the former things from the beginning;" and in 48:5 He says, :I have even from the beginning declared it to thee;before it came to pass I shewed it thee;". Read the whole chapter to get the correct context. God is speaking to Israel warning them of impending judgement and He directed His prophets to write those things that would come to pass long before it was fulfilled. Likewise, we have in picture images His plan to redeem mankind in the zodiac.
Flavius Josephus was a Jewish historian who was born in 37 A.D.and died sometime after 100 A.D. He wrote an account of Seth, Adam's third son,in ANTIQUITIES OF THE JEWS , Book I Ch 2:3 "I will therefore only endeavor to give an account of those that proceeded from Seth.Now this Seth,when he was brought up,and came to those years in which he could discern what was good,became a virtuous man;and as he was himself of an excellant character, so did he leave children behind him who imitated his virtues.......They also were the inventers of that peculiar sort of wisdom which is concerned with the HEAVENLY BODIES , AND THEIR ORDER.And that their inventions might not be lost before they were sufficiently known ,upon Adam's PREDICTION THAT THE WORLD WAS TO BE DESTROYED AT ONE TIME BY THE FORCE OF FIRE, and at another time by the violence and quantity of water, they made two pillars; one of brick , the other of stone.....and exhibit those discoveries to mankind;".
According to this record,they engraved their findings in astronomy on these two pillars, so they would not be lost.
The Book of Enoch ( not scripture, but is a historical writing)records Enoch's instructions to Methuselah, his son,in LXXXII."Charge given to Enoch: the four Intercalary Days:the Stars which lead the Seasons and the Months"....9.And these are the orders of the stars, which set in their places,and in their seasons and festivals and months.". However, Enoch also saw in visions given to him by God how the angels who rebelled in Genesis 6 took up with women and sired children who became giants (reason why God sent the Flood in Noah's day.) He speaks of two of these angels, named Baraqijal and Kokabel who taught astrology and the constellations to men and corrupted them.So there lies the source of the corruption of astronomy to astrology.
Next post will begin VIRGO and the spectacular story that this constellation reveals along with its 3 Decans (subordinate constellations).

Constellations & Galaxies

In 1980 I sat in a garage in NJ which was the birthing house of our new church, still in its' infancy.We had no pastor, as yet, and guest speakers preached from the pulpit.One such speaker was a Chaplain at a nearby military base.
One day a group of us were chatting after our 'carry~in~dish' fellowship dinner.He began talking about constellations, nebulae , galaxies and their relationship to God. I sat transfixed.Holy smoke! Never had my attentions been drawn to the stars in the sky in such a way before.Now I was looking up and recognizing the Gospel story .(I should have been helping the ladies clean up in the kitchen, but I didn't want to lose or miss a single word that he was saying.I was glued to my seat).
When God spread out the heavens and assigned the stars their locations,He did so with purpose,one of which tells HIS-tory. "The heavens declare the glory of God;and the firmament sheweth his handywork."-Psalm 19:1). (Genesis 1:14-18 shows that the firmament is outer space.) There's a lot more in this statement than just looking upward at a star filled sky and saying ,"Yep, that's really cool! God sure outdid Himself!" Do you know that God named every single star ? "To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? Lift up your eyes on high,and behold who hath created these things,that bringeth out their host by number:he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power;not one faileth."(Isaiah 40:25,26) In Genesis, "God said Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night;and let them be for SIGNS,and for SEASONS,and for DAYS, and for YEARS:And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.And God made two great lights;the greater light to rule the day,and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth."(Genesis 1:14-17). We understand DAYS and YEARS.The turning of the earth on its axis; the orbit of the moon; the orbit of the earth around the sun. Gardeners and farmers understand SEASONS and if you pick up a Farmers' Almanac you'll see a section for planting by phases of the moon and the position of constellations for best results.What of SIGNS,though? A SIGN is something that proclaims a message.It can't be astrology because God forbids this (Isaiah 47:13,14 Deuteronomy 18:9-14).
When God answered Job,He did so with a multitude of questions and a large portion of them had to do with His creation(see Job 38-41). "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.Who hath laid the the measures thereof,if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? "(38:4-5). "Canst thou bind the sweet influences of PLEIADES, or loose the bands of ORION ? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season ? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ORDINANCES of heaven ? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth ?" (38:31-33) . Here is mentioned Pleiades,Orion,Arcturus and Mazzaroth.The Book of Job is the oldest of the Books of the Bible (written before Moses wrote Genesis thru Deuteronomy).It is believed to have been written around 1800-1600 B.C. The constellations of the zodiac were already known at this time.
Mazzaroth ( 'Mazzarah' in Hebrew) is thought to collectively mean the constellations of the Zodiac.
DR.James Kennedy,Ph.D.,author of the book "The Real Meaning Of The Zodiac"(pg 6 CRM Publishing,P.O.Box 40 Fort Lauderdale, Florida copyright 1989),writes:

"There exists in the writings of virtually all civilized nations a description of the major stars in the heavens-something which might be called their "Constellations of the Zodiac" or the "Signs of the Zodiac," of which there are twelve.If you go back in time to Rome , or beyond that to Greece , or before that to Egypt, Persia, Assyria, or Babylonia-regardless of how far back you go,there is a remarkable phenomenon : Nearly all nations had the same twelve signs,representing the same twelve things, placed in the same order.Archeologists, historians, and antiquarians have searched the dustiest libraries,uncovered the oldest tablets , ciphered the most difficult hieroglyphics, and have failed to discover how it is that in so many nations all over the world the same signs exist.
Remarakably, the stars in the heaven which represent those twelve signs bear absolutely no resemblance to the pictures of the signs themselves."







Arab tradition states these signs came from Seth and Enoch , the son and grandson of Adam.However, by the time the Tower of Babel was being built these signs and the true story they told were corrupted by pagan religions and were renamed after pagan gods.People began to worship the sun, moon, planets and stars.They believed the stars had influence over their lives.People still believe this and horoscopes are everywhere:on AOL and a multitude of websites,in grocery stores on magazine racks, the daily newspapers, etc. God forbids astrology and horoscopes, as we read in Isaiah 47:13,14.
Job states "By his spirit he has garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.Lo,these are parts of his ways;but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?" (Job 26:13,14) Another constellation is mentioned here, the CROOKED SERPENT. But Job is telling us that these are only parts of His ways. It is not enough to see God through nature and creation.
Isaiah 27:1 "In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent,even leviathan that crooked serpent;and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea."

Revelation 12:3-4a "And there appeared another wonder in heaven;and behold a great red dragon,having seven heads and ten horns ,and seven crowns upon his heads.And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven,and did cast them to the earth:..."
Revelation 12:7-10 "And there was war in heaven:Michael and his angels fought against the dragon;and the dragon fought and his angels,And prevailed not;neither was their place found anymore in heaven.And the great dragon was cast out,that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:he was cast out into the earth,and his angels were cast out with him.And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,Now is come salvation,and strength,and the kingdom of our God,and the power of his Christ:for the accuser of our brethren is cast down,which accused them before God day and night."

The constellations also show these three:HYDRA the crooked(fleeing) serpent ; CETUS (Leviathan )the Sea monster; Draco (the Dragon,the old serpent).

There are 12 major Signs(also referred to as Houses or Mansions) or constellations, that follow a 360 degree ecliptic , or circle (circuit).That line is really the path of the earth around the Sun ,in the course of which the sun seems to move 30 degrees every month .Twelve months x 30 degrees = 360 degrees.Back to the beginning of the first month.
In addition to the 12 major constellations are 36 decans (minor constellations or signs) that are connected with each of the 12.Each major constellation has 3 decans which further explain the meaning of these symbols.
